198 is a Toronto based publication focused on photography across its many forms and applications. Through different themes, the magazine will explore how featured artists and contributors utilize the medium of photography to interact with  the world. 198 aims to explore all avenues of contemporary art, culture and life. Rooted in Toronto, 198 is a namesake: the address at which the publication was brought to life–198 ******* Street. Toronto is, famously, an extremely diverse and multicultural city. With five founding members from various cultural backgrounds, 198 hopes to operate in a similar fashion.
