This issue of 198 attempts to tap into the idealization of summer. In this summer issue, it is our intention to expand not only our own horizons but yours as well. With this in mind, our team set out in 2023 and 2024 to go beyond Toronto—while keeping a Toronto perspective. As a result, you will be provided with our individual impressions of the places we’ve visited, as well as the perspectives of other photographers from Toronto and living abroad.
